Library

Our library provides local children and adults with a wealth of free reading materials, as well as a place to receive tutoring by a staff of caring volunteers. Located at the Vutakaka Community Center, the library was started with generous donations of books and monetary contributions from individuals in the United States and Kenya.

Every afternoon, children can be seen running to our library as soon as the local public schools let out. They are so excited to have the opportunity to learn and discover!

This resource has opened the world up to so many children and adults — providing opportunities to learn about many different topics, and of course, to increase literacy skills.

You can support our library by purchasing book plates for $10. Your name will be written on a book plate and placed in a book in our library.
